About the client, they could be using a file picker along the image acquisition on their app, would maximize compatibility. They could also( my choice ) create a simple web ui, and users could download Opera Mini instd.(if not already installed since lots of operators are pushing it to the users) which supports file upload/download.
The current client has a few issues, not the JVM's fault, I'm using JBed( best WinMo JVM, check this if you have doubts: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?... ) and besides not being able to upload media(normal I reckon) I cannot post even though I get a 'successfuly posted' or similar message. Also tested on a recent Samsung phone that runs all kinds of midlets(gmail, ebuddy, opera mini, etc) and the client didn't behave very well, reported.

hi, thanks for the feedback Alcides. To lmjabreu, when you have a private profile your messages won't end up in the public timeline. Can you please check if you have a private profile?
